NFCSP Individual counseling:
One of the components of the National Family Caregiver Support Program (NFCSP), is the individual counseling section.
Through the NFCSP individual counseling program, caregivers of older relatives are able counseled on how to work with seniors, how to deal with stress, determine when respite care is a good idea, tap into the variety of public resources that are available to caregiver.
The NFCSP individual caregiver counseling program is not available in all areas. It depends on what your local Area Agency on Aging requests and designates the Federal Government’s Administration on Aging funds for.
